教宗方济各10月24日上午在梵蒂冈接见了犹太人国际人权组织"西蒙•维森塔尔中心"的代表团。教宗说："任何一个少数群体如果因它的宗教信仰和种族所属而遭受迫害与排挤，那么整个社会的益处将面临危险，我们大家都必须负起责任。我以悲痛的心情，想到世界各国有许多基督信徒正在遭受痛苦、排挤和十足的迫害"。
