教宗方济各3月3日接见西班牙主教们，勉励这个教会"持续传教"，宣讲福音需要有勇气及恒心。教宗说，不能忘记羊群对天主的事有敏锐的感觉。主教们要藉着勇敢宣讲并结合现实生活，使播下的种子发芽，藉着表样、教育及关怀，留意种子的成长，在天主的葡萄园里使它们和谐一致，不让任何一个遭到排除。
